From Wild Rumpus: This is a night celebrating spooky queer literature, and is aimed at being a safe and fun space for all identities to celebrate!
Calling all cryptid lovers! We're hosting a QUEER CRYPTID NIGHT! Because pretty sure queerness & cryptid-dom go hand in hand.(Looking at you, Mothman!)
The highlight of the night is a visit from author LOGAN-ASHLEY KISNER, whose sophomore novel, THE TRANSITION, is out and it's SCARY! We loved his first book, Old Wounds, so this is a highly-anticipated read! Logan-Ashley will be joined in conversation by our very own local pal, J.M. LEE, whose book Nightland Express is a perfect queer read for those of us who need something less horrifying but equally wonderful. :P
In The Transition, a transgender teen’s post-op recovery is derailed when he is bitten by a werewolf and his body begins to change. A thought-provoking page-turner that will haunt you for days!
