From QUEERSPACE Collective & MN Dodgeball.
Looking for a fun and safe way to get active? Not sure if sports are for you? Feeling a bit intimidated by dodgeball?
We got you – We're proud to be partnering with Minnesota Dodgeball to provide Queer youth a welcoming, exciting experience to explore the world of physical activity! You’ll get to improve your sports skills through throwing, catching, and blocking exercises, plus enjoy friendly scrimmages in a supportive environment.
At Southdale YMCA, free for any 2SLGBTQIA+ youth ages 12-17 to participate.
Together, we'll learn about the practice of nature journaling and enjoy a hike on some local, beautiful trails.
What is QUEERY?
QUEERY is a free, inclusive nature club designed specifically for queer and questioning middle and high school youth in Southern Minnesota.
Every month, we gather for exciting activities that foster outdoor skills, build friendships, and explore the unique ways queerness can be found in the natural world. From nature journaling, hiking, and birding, to tours of local greenhouses and kayaking, each meetup is an opportunity for adventure and discovery!

At our monthly gatherings, separate breakout groups for parents, kids, siblings, and teens provide the opportunity to meet and learn from other people traveling the same path. Families meet other families to share, talk, and hang out. We're here to listen to each other's stories, exchange resources, build community, and have fun! It's a simple idea that works.
Adult meetings are a space for parents, guardians, and other family and caregivers.
T(w)een meetings are for trans/non-binary/questioning teens and tweens 11-18, and are facilitated by trans and/or non-binary young adults.
Child meetings provide supervised play time for both trans/non-binary/questioning kids and siblings who are not members of the trans community. Please note that all children must be out of diapers/potty-trained.
"In our crash course we take all of the information from our Level 1 (6-count) course and teach it to you in 4 hours (with breaks!). 6-Count steps are the easiest to pick up and get you ready to dance right away and if you are eager to learn and don't want to wait, come on out and join us for the Crash Course. It's always a blast!"
Join QUEERSPACE Collective for an evening of hands-on fun at Copper Pony! Participants will have the opportunity to make their own pizza (dough provided, toppings ready, creativity required!) and build their own potted succulent (choose your plant and pot at the succulent bar). All supplies and a t-shirt will be provided to participants.
Free for any 2SLGBTQIA+ youth ages 12-17 in the St. Cloud/Central MN area to participate. Please register by September 21.
