 K\n \nEmily Boyajian  is a pianist and composer. Her creation for the 2022
 -2023 Cedar Commissions\, Transition\, is an illustration of the journey t
 hat is one’s gender transition. Emily draws on her own experiences as a tr
 ans woman and explores those nuanced and dynamic experiences\, creating st
 ories that other trans people can see themselves in\, too. \n\nRECLAIM’s m
 ission is to increase access to mental health care for queer and trans you
 th so they may reclaim their lives from oppression in all its forms. RECLA
 IM provides financially accessible\, specialized mental health care to que
 er and trans youth ages 12-25 and their families. We also engage in commun
 ity events and offer training and consultation services to help our partne
 rs improve their ability to work with queer and trans folks. RECLAIM’s vis
 ion is that all queer and trans youth enjoy a thriving mental health found
 ation to live liberated\, authentic lives in community.
